The net assets client and partner are new input fields on the Business income and assets screen. The values in these fields replace the 'Total Asset $', 'Total Liabilities' and '%Asset Owned C/P' fields.

Guide for use

Because of the complexity in the policy relating to treatment of business income, the system cannot always correctly calculate the client's 'stake' in the asset values associated with the business. Retirement programs have decided that the assessor will be required to calculate the Net Asset Value for each member of a couple and key this information into the system.
