Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3s) are geographic areas built from whole Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2s). They are designed for the output of regional data, including 2021 Census of Population and Housing data. SA3s create a standard framework for the analysis of ABS data at the regional level through clustering groups of SA2s that have similar regional characteristics, represented as a code.

Statistical Area Level 4 (SA4s) are geographic areas built from whole Statistical Areas Level 3 (SA3s). SA4s are the largest sub-state regions in the Main Structure of the ASGS and are designed for the output of a variety of regional data, including data from the 2021 Census of Population and Housing. SA4 boundaries represent labour markets and the functional area of Australian capital cities respectively. They are designed with an emphasis on stability over time to support the time series of statistical releases such as the Quarterly Labour Force publication. These areas represent labour markets or groups of labour markets within each state and territory, represented as a code.

The indicator represents the death of a person.

The total count of young people for whom a customer has responsibility and who meets age, residence, income, study or job seeking or other dependency requirements for a particular payment, benefit or service.

The code that indicates whether a person is considered to have primary care of a dependent child under the age of 16 years. 

The age of the youngest child in the care of the Principal Carer.

The active partnership status of a person, represented by a flag.

A code based on concatenated 'Domino Person ID',  and 'Domino Partner ID' used to refer to a household/financial unit, either single or domestic partnership.

Health Care Cards are another form of concession card. They are automatically issued to recipients of certain payments.

Indicates that the carers of foster children can claim a health care card. The card is claimed by the foster carer on behalf of the child. The carer does not need to be a formal foster carer. Eligibility can include care for any child that is not the applicant's natural or adopted child. The card is issued only in the name of the child, can only be used to obtain concessions on services used by the child.

Certain students with a disability or severe medical condition can claim a Health Care card.

The card can be claimed by 16-25 years old full-time students who were holding a Carer Allowance Health Care Card on the day before their 16th birthday. The card is issued in the name of the student.

A claimant must be an Australian resident. The card is available to new Australian residents after 208 weeks in Australia as an Australian resident.

The card is generally cancelled after 6 weeks of a temporarily absence from Australia. It is cancelled immediately if the cardholder has permanently departed Australia The card is not means tested..

The Commonwealth Seniors Health Card is targeted at self-funded retirees of Age Pension age who do not receive Age Pension because of assets or income levels.
